    Default Twin Turbo VN 5sp

my thought's over the next 2 years is to keep my current vn v6 5sp,
take the engine, gearbox, diff out, send it off to get stripped down, machined, hardened parts in and get a twin turbo setup happening, obviously i'd be looking at $15000 or so to get something like that and would obviously take a while to get done,
or to ditch the current car, get a vn ss and put a charger on it or turbo setup.
    opinions are sought for ideas!!

yeah SS with a nice sidewinder style charger would go the goods fair bit cheaper than tt'ing a 6 i'd imagine.

if i was getting the ss i would be stripping it down anyway and getting it rebuilt with hardened stuff anyway so that it is really crisp, and yeah a nice charger would be great. in another year i'll be working full time so my car won't get used much at all so waiting for work to be done will be no problem, as money should be no worries

Probably one of my favourite Holden combos - I love a supercharged VN V8 SS, so good to look at. Expecially if its in Atlas grey, with the red highlights.

each to their own, ditch the TT setup and go a single Ball bearing turbo the 6 would give you round 300rwkw max pretty much under 15psi
the SS obviously is a bigger block and has more potential the supercharged SS will have all the torque instantly

twice the cost... not as much gain as the 8. sure if you have unlimited money and time do the 6 but else the 8 is still always a winner.
