    Default carbon clean/injector clean

ok yesterday i did a motor vac on my vn and it made a heap fo difference
ill explane what a motor vac is for those ot you who havent herd if it befor
basicly its a machine that we hook up to the fuel rail and run a mix of fuel and a special cleaning agent threw your engine
it cleans your injectors, the fuel rails, the carbon off the back/front of your valves and valve seats and the top of your pistons.

and i think it actually worked
it idles better and has more power and picks up revs quicker
from the cars ive used it on at work it seems to work best on cars with a few ks on the clock
mines done about 200.000 and it has made a noticabile difference

dont worry this is not an ad
but i recomend getting it done
theres only 2 in geelong and im not sure where the others are
but i cant get over the difference it made
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

Yes I know what you are using. There are a few different systems out there and heaps of different names. What brand chemical are you using?
I also reccomend this every 40,000 km or 2 years as it is well worth the money.

I work as a subaru tec and we use a genuine subaru product called upper engine cleaner, cos the subaru motor is a boxer motor that lay flat the bottom sides of the valves get alot of carbon build up(cos the fuel we get now days is that s#*t it leves the motors very dirty inside and customers not reving there car passed 3500rpm)which we srapy in to the inlet manifold when the motor is running it cleans the top of the pistons ,back of the valves ,in the inlet manifold it brings it up like new ,the valves seal propley again, it remove the carbon on the piston so there is less knocking when cold , it is very suprising when you see how much smoke comes out the back when you give it a few revs , you can tell how revs there ride and who drive like a nan

Holden sell a product called top engine cleaner. Just stick it in your fuel. I use it about once every 10000kms and swear by the stuff.

I get trade price so I'm unsure as to what it is retail is, but I think it should be around $16. The proper name is "Holden Top Engine Cleaner". If your worried give your nearest Holden spares department a call and ask to see if its in stock and the price.

Its easy to use. Grab a set of needle nosed pliers. Purchase top engine cleaner from Holden. Run the car down till about 1/4 of a tank. Go to a petrol station with your newly purchased metal bottle of Holden Top Engine Cleaner. Unscrew lid, take out safety cap with pliers, poor Top Engine Cleaner down fuel filler and put 15L of petrol in to wash the filler neck and mix the cleaner with your fuel. Drive the car until its about to run out of fuel.

You will notice the car becoming more responsive as you drive. It even says on the sticker liquid NOS.

Sounds like injector cleaner to me. How does an engine vac compare to using engine flush.. that stuff that you put in the oil, run for a bit and then drop the oil and put new oil in.
