hey all i took my rear seats out of my vn and i found some writing done with a crayon white marker like mechancis use it sais ATT and an arrow pointing 2 the join at the bottom of the inside cabin wheel arch on the floor i think this means attention that their needs sum work done to it. if any1 knows why they would do this in the factory or could my car of been in an accident before and been fixed. if any1 has any replies it would be mch appreciated.
vks
i dunno but it kinda does make ya think it might have been in a smashand that seem may have needed a little more attention than the others.
I would say it means ''attention'' which doesnt sound too good eh?
Yeah dood, thats Attention you possibly have more of them around the same piece of panel..
My mates a panel beater and i see that writing on alot of his cars.. Its like a reminder for what needs to be fixed so employees dont forget or dont read the sheet properly![]()

Well, i worked at mitsubishi for a few months (yeah i know its a completely different car), but we would often write on panels etc where something wasnt right. I worked on left hand doors etc, so we had to be careful or dents or scratches so we would mark any if we made them. I also worked on front ends, and would sometimes mark spots on the car if certain welds were not done. The QA guys also go over and write things on the car to make sure they get checked, and that all welds are strong and wont break.
As for the ATT, i can only guess it was written there to nofity someone that something wasnt right or needed to be fixed. It was probably fixed before the car was released, its just that they didnt bother rubbing it off what was written.
anyway.. hope that helps..
sweet makes sence now thats alot guys
i appreciate it vks
