friends VR killed my VN LOL!

this is weird as,
friday night we went to this private property, huge road... to test if my car was good against hes
and it floged mine by so much

i slamed the gear to power d and the pedal all the way down, and still felt like the hand brake was on lollllllllllllll... i thought vn's where FasT like everybody says... can u tune the pedal to go harder cause it felt so weak

Your cars not running right if it got beat by more than half a bumper .

Replace Fuel filter
Air filter
Spark plugs

For a start and see how it goes then

clean throttle body and get the cables adjusted, was the vr stock?

what are we talkin? a vn v6 auto against a vr v6 auto?
if so you should have given him the flick without too much drama. are either of these cars modded in any way?(if so, how?)
like greenfoam said, look over those things, and also check your throttle body...give it a clean and pull the throttle cable to see if the butterfly opens fully.

well it was my VR and its got a 2.5 catback and a pod filter and it goes the same as it did stock

I've given him enough advice on msn to knock a good second off his time, seems like both the cables need adjusting for starters, should be a weapon by tomorrow night

Hmmmm I wouldnt be worried, I rekon most VR's would beat my car... The weight of a gas tank & the air restriction of the gas mixer on the intake......

recently ive checked my throttle body if the butterfly as greenfoam said would open all the way and it does.. lol now i need to see something else the cables feel real lose i need to check them out to

But does it open all the way with someone pushing on the pedal, if the cables are loose it wont and you said it shifts gears at 3000 revs that means the kickdown cable is wrong too

Seriously v5's sound awesome... when mine was running on 5 it had the BEST sounding idle/exhust note id ever heard, sooo fat.... pitty it could barely make it up hills

lol try it sometime, remove one of your rockers and pushrods and see how it sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!
