    Thumbs up been modifying!! :)

i spent the majority of yesterday working on my mates vp v6, i changed the throttle body to a 68mm, removed the bellmouth, installed the extractors, installed a powerchip gold that he picked up for $50, put on the 2 1/2 inch system on, changed leads and replaced plugs with ngk platinums.
my god it goes so much harder now and its actually better on fuel when cruising and its loud as a mofo when you feed it some throttle

he payed $250 for the extractors, $300 for the exhaust system,$50 for the chip, nothing for the t/b, $80 for the plugs and leads
he's happy with it sound and performance wise, if it were my car i'd be cheerin cos its made a massive difference
its a manual too so it goes pretty hard to start with

Sounds like a good days work, even better when you spend all day pulling it apart and then having it start no problem when you have it back together

Bloody oarsome ^^ It's always a good feeling to pull off a little project like that. Nice find: extractors for $250 and $50 for the chip. He's done well for himself ($80 for the plugs/leads isn't bad either)
