    Default rpm clutches

    does anyone know anything about rpm clutches?
    or can anyone recomend a nice brand of heavy clutch
    for my vn v6 series 2 manual 5 speed.

    rpm are good.

    from memory i think it was a rpm clutch we put into a ET runnin 15psi no slippin then..

    i might even get a excedy
    its booked in next week.
    untill then im cruizing in my mums
    01 f*rd laser, least its got electrics.

    im definetly up for a new clutch cause my new traction
    point is 3cm from the floor, it feels like a 4cyl clutch, but
    anything over 2500rpm or 1/2 throttle and its slipping.

    he he, the clutch plate is at the riviets how much you get quoted for clutch and labour? (if ya dont mind me askin)

    i will find out when i take it in,
    i would do it myself if i knew how!
    plus i dont have many tools
    and he also said it sounded fly wheel related.

    he may machine your flywheel even if it needs it or not to get more cash. if they are that sort of rip off joint. hopefully you are lucky are they aren't. ya should have a go at it yourself. ya don't need many tools. a clutch centreing tool would be handy though. would save a bit of time.. get a ceramic clutch plate. they are great..

    Ive just got a heavy duty rpm clutch, $330. Im going to do it myself though.
