Vn Automatic gearbox not changing like normal

Hey

Yesterday I was driving home from work I was in drive and hit the slow traffic, as I started to build up speed my gear change was normal then all of sudden my gearbox changed into second gear when I was doing abot 75kmph so I put my foot down and it changed into 3rd, but I could'nt get 4th. So I stopped the car and checked my autotranz fluid it was all good. Then I drove away slowly and the gearing was sweet then again the same thing happen it just stays in low gears all the way home the only way it changes is when you floor it as soon as you ease of the accelerator it changes down a gear.
Is there wiring on the gearbox that if it is faulty could cause this or does anyone have any ideas?

if it still dose it after youve adjusted the cabil it will probably be the auto being stuffed.holding out in gear or not changing usually means its full of sh1t and the valve body and servos will be blocked up
