cluster colors?

hey all,
Just wondering if any one has changed the color of the cluster lights?
Im thinking of doing this to my level 2 bt1 dash
Im just over the green.

If any one has pics of theres that have been done,id like to see them

I think blue would look sweet. I've thought about it quite a bit, but never taken the effort to go one step further and ask myself "how?"

They're probably just a bunch of LEDs or small globes that you could change with parts from Autobahn or Dick Smiths. When I buy an L2 dash, I'll take apart my old L1 dash and have a look

its gonna be a bit harder then you think... the green colour isnt the colour of the globes, its the colour that is sort of painted on the back of the cluster faces, like the gear selector. you could probably have a go at scratching it off and see how it goes, but id rather buy on the of the white ones off ebay with the blue numbers already there, it will just save a lot of hassle and the white will look better anyways... just my 2 cents worth

I've seen one where someone did that (scratch it all off) and it looked CRAP! If you're going to do it, do it properly and get a custom dash face made up.

where and how much are the white cluster faces. i realkly want one..do they come with the blue painty stuff on the back or is it clear and u just fit in some led's

i want it to look orignal but i want the color of it to be blue
i dont really want to buy one of those el-cheapo faces off ebay

blue globes r the way to go but at night u really cant see ya gauges at night

You could always get the speed graphics guy to do up a custom one for you .. He could change the colour of the speedo, but keep the back plate black if you don't want to go the white face....

I can't complain about the quality, mine seem to be great ... And really easy to attach ...

that looks good but i only want the green parts to be blue not the whole lot. also ive got a bt1 dash so the speedo needel dosnt light up. the little light at the top dose that
