    Default series 1 injectors in series 2 engiine?

    as the title states. can it be done?

    Yeap, Im sure they will be fine. I think they are all good up to the VR, VS is ecotec so I think think they can be used.

    Yep can be done, you can use Series 2 on Series 1 engine.
    only difference with these two are Rope Seal on the crankshaft on Series 1 and rubber seal on series 2 engine..

    And the heads, inlet manifold, exhaust manifolds, valve springs etc etc but at least the injectors both flow 19 lbs/h : )

    ive just done it i just haave put a set of vr injectors into series 1 vn had them cleaned and checked car now goes like a cut cat getting 11.5 litres per 100 was getting 12-13 per 100 kms theyare better injectors holden only used series 1 vn injectors in 1 motor only they changed them in very late series 2 vn but used new injectors in vp and all later

    i heard someone say he had vt injectors on a vn once, can this be done, my injectors are rooted and i need new ones, should i go the vt's?
    Don't blame me, It's that damn percadan..

    Hey Guys ive just fitted VR injecters to my old VN.

    Turn the key for few seconds to build fuel pressure and whalla she fired into life nicely.Not only does my old girl run alot quieter with less induction and exauste noise,but also throttle responce is improved very rapidly.

    Not bad for $24 trial for set of injectors.
    Next up is 65mm V8 throttle body,another trick of been told about is to pollish the inner of the TB and the Elbow to the inlet (faster flow)
