hi, i have been given a full set of rails and injectors off a vs and i have a vp with noisy injectors (surprise surprise) and was going to swap the injectors over which i've been told is possible but someone told me the fuel rails on the vs are triangular and that the vp are round?????? i haven't got a clue so can anyone set me straight please?
i wouldn't think it would be possible at all cos the buick and ecotec engines different
We got rep back, yaaay!
you can fit the injectors but the rail is very different
Rob
engines r different.. so no 2 the rail...
cool! thanks guys!!!![]()
Would the flow rate of the injectors be much difference to cause any issues?
no they are pretty much the same as there is a couple of cars on this site that run vn/p's with vs injectors
We got rep back, yaaay!
VN v6 injectors flow 16/17lb after 16-18years usage they can cut down to about 15lb.....
I was running 22lb Injectors in my VN, and still will be once I got my new ECOTEC in her.
Cheers

I've heard of people sticking a VT f.p.r. onto a VN. What's the benefit, and do you need to have a programmable chip to make use of the 'bigger' gear?
Just a note, I too have noisy injectors. lol
the noisy injectors are my sole reason for doing it i hate the ticking constantly it drives me mad!i never thought of the other things everyone else just come up with lol!!!
same deal here... I only got the one ticker but you can only really hear it when the bonnet is up and standing infront of it.
