i am interested in buyin a upgrade memcal chip for my v6 vn s2 i want to know is the power difference noticible or is it a waste of money and it say it will will put it to a 147kw is that true??
standard is 123 ish so i would expect about 135 maximum
147 is a bit hopeful, SV3800 was only 132 so judge from that

chipping a vn v6 isnt really worth the money unless youve done some decent mods before hand, ie, extractors, exhaust, cai, all the goodies.
getting a custom tune done is better and will reap the most gain for your motor.
you WONT get 147kw ever from a stock vn and a memcal, still takes a few decent engine mods to reach that.
the stock vn motors seemed to be tuned pretty damn good for their day.
have a bit of a search through the forum, theres heaps of threads on this subject
standard series 1 vn is 125kw
standard series 2 vn is 127kw
this promises a 20kw increase
On the series one VN you can gain at least a solid .2 of second over the 1/4 mile compared a good stock memcal like "atfy" if you have a series two or VP you can gain a bit more than that and if you have a VR you can gain a bit more again. But overall the gains are very small compared to some other motors like the 5 liter and ls1
desent upgrades like??? i have cold air intake, v8 throttle body,lsd,10mm leads, full exhaust
