Default What temp should my VP V6 run at?

My VP Berlina temp gauge sits on not quite a quarter. I remember when I had my Pajero if the temp was too cold the computer would richen up the mixture resulting in poor fuel economy. Can any one tell me if it is the same with the V6 Holden motor.
I also have a cold air intake.

    thanks

you should take your cold air intake off and keep your heater on .. your motor is obviously too cold ..

perhaps pour a hot cup of tea or coffee over it before you drive it? that warms me up
    never late in a 3 0 .. uhhh ... intercooled turbo

yes i drive an mx6 turbo ... its probably quicker than yours.

That's fine, especially in the colder months. Mine sat on the first shash for the entire duration of winter, and has only just started to rise towards 2/3 during the day in spring.

My VN sits at about 3/8ths most of the time, Ive been told this is normal.
ve had the thermostat replaced. prior to this it used to sit around quarter... apparently the thermostat was jammed open and this is not a good temperature to run at. who knows.
As long as the temp doesnt ever go higher than when the fan kicks in then its ok, once it start climbing higher than that then you need to start looking for problems.
