hey guys, the project is complete, well on the outside, its been a eventful 2 years ive been working on this car, i had a photoshop of what i wanted and its far better than that, here she is

its also for sale if anyones intrested not just going to give it away tho

Looks good! The bumper turned out really well by the looks of it. The accident was a good thing in the end then! It seems a shame to sell it now after all the hard work you've put in to it.

nice dude, i like how you left it with the calais colour scheme over the kit.
there's a guy up here in qld with a similar car, vn calais with a group a kit, but his is old and crappy looking, plus he put a vh bonnet scoop on it and painted it silver too (wtf!?) which just makes it look tacky.
yours is shmick though, classy stuff.

dunno, its more a EOI thing, see if anyone is intrested if not then im not phased

what else can i do to it tho??? electronical is getting pimped next, 7" touch screen with gps and a 80gbs hdd full off my 14,500 songs :P

Get the right grill, whole interior, engine swap or lots of work to the 6, bigger brakes, bigger rims, diff gears..................

That's exactly it! I hate looking through ads in magazines and always seeing something I want for my car. I just want it so I can look at it and say there's honestly nothing more I would like to do to it, and I know it's in top mechanical order.

Slam an SC14 on her... Hardened valve springs & colletes, Extractors & Exhaust... Will run happily at 8psi and have no valve bounch... Will be good for 150rwkw...

Will atleast give it more play apart from her bein all show no go...

i mananged to valve bounce it last night off a launch got both spinning (no brake involved) was running a stock chip tho, should make myself a new afty with the rev limiter at 6000 because i need that extra 500rpm, mmmmm still thinking about a sc14 and 150rwkw @ 8 psi?? luke was making round that at 6 (with new injectors tho) im thinking about it but ive got no cash at the moment, going away at the end of the year and ive gotta pay for that my birthdays comming up soon, so ill get the car pc in then

bigger rims??????? well maybe oneday if its a showcar but 17x8s are a rough enough ride and already bloody wide, as for the grille its only got 1 screw in it lol need to put the others back in just havnt been stuffed and i like it

and YES new diff gears are on the shopping list, i want a spool with 3.9 ratio's
also i need to upgrade the brakes yes, thinking the VT twin piston upgrade but later

the relality is, what i want for the car, i cant afford right now
i want a FULL back to metal respray and the kit mounted PERFECTLY, full custom interior, and v6 turbo with how much i earn per week, i doubt that happening soon, maybe when i start working fulltime but yeah... the reason i want a supra is because to get some NICE power out of them all you have to do is boost them on stock internals they will handel 15psi with the right cooler ... but yeah i wanna make the calais go faster but im soo limited with cash

On another note, if you sell it what are you going to buy with your limited budget? You would be lucky to get around $4000 for the Calais.

hey i could give you a list of things that im doing to my cars but it will take me all night and i dont think i have that much alcohole

every time i walk past my hz i find somthing new i want to do to it.
and i have a limited budget 2.

student loan...... 7 year one, low repayments then pay it back in full as soon as i start working fulltime ie, have it paid off in like 2 years max, if i wanted to get rid of it id sell it for $4000, hence i dont care if it gets sold and its got a car pc going in soon, so its not exactly a stocko

a student loan aye...thats a good idea. i might have to invest in that. but i wouldnt know how. anyways. IMO if u want to get rid of the car u should and u can get someting different like....oohhhhh i dno but yeh. and have heaps of fun with that.fixing it and modding it. i say the supra idea could be cool unless u go all ricer on everybody in here. i dont want to see one of those fu**en ricers with those fu**en LED'S in the fu**en exhaust. they get me so angry...

lol it'd be anything but rice, if probbly end up buying one witha rice cannon (as most have one) and taking a angle grinder to it, its not a ricey looking supra, if anything it reminds me of the 80s muscle car, nice n boxy and beefy

Good choice! I just washed my car, then did the tyres and plastic trim on it. I can't drive it anywhere but it looks nice. It's always satisfying to have your car looking all shiny
