VN Berlina 5lt

Thought that since I've been here awhile I had better put some piccy's up of my pride n joy

Everything is pretty much stock except cold pod filter, an 3 inch exhaust and extractors. She sounds absolutly mean and has a nice grumble.
It use to have a crappy chipping paint job till I ripped the side strips off and found heaps of rust. so I decided to fix it up and repaint the whole thing.
It's not finnished yet as it still has a few coats and some more sanding. But it's getting there.

Here she is before I ripped the strips off....

Paint them mirrors and door handles man. And completely colour code the bumpers. Looks weird how the Berlina trim does not continue around the car... So paint it all

I have painted the center consol but hehehe I painted it wild violet and I'm gonna do the dash surround too an thats it

It's not finnished yet as I gotta redo it an fix some fings up

but ya get the general idea

I've got a black white and purple theme happening

Hubby took of in it yesterday an I told him to nail it, by fark she still sounds nice

it still gives me goosebumps

Thats kool, it's called Wild Violet but it's got a let down, it's a ford colour

it's purple too an not blue lol

I'm also doing the black inside bit that sits around the dash cluster too, an thats it as I reckon any more an it will be an over kill IYKWIM

The chick at discount auto parts made a point of it last week as she's a ford person so I turned round an said "yeah it's the only decent thing ford made"

then made a run for it hehehe lmao

Wow it's been awhile since I updated this my bad

The tranny that I had rebuilt back whenever has shart the tin and she now holds a nice secondhand b & m mega shift

she got new 17 inch shoes on too and I painted the black strip running down the middle with a purple line running through it so she has her berlina look back and everyone can stop telling me it looks like it's missing something in the middle

but anyway pics are worth a thousand words
