as some of you may know im striping down my 304 to do all the gaskets.(im sick of the oil leaks)
and whilst ive got it apart im going to put a cam in
i want to know how big i can go before i have to put a stall in?
its a family car so i dont really want to stall it but i may take it down the quarter just to see what it can do.
if it was manual i wouldent be worried
so if you could help with sizes and who makes them and who much.
thanks xcop5l

well being a 5 litre crane cams are the way to go, ive got a 284 and its pretty good with a stock stall converter, doesnt lump over heaps(just a little), if you want a mildish cam then go for one of their towing packages. they are good for low down torque to get you moving.
that sounds good ill look into what the geelong distrubtor has
