Hey guys i just bought a set of NGK Iridium spark plags, i asked for the ones for a vp v6, when i got home i checked the gap(by eye) and the gap is at least 2mm maybe 2.5mm, is this right to use on the vp? i thought the gap was meant to be 1.5mm? and it says on the box not to adjust the gap.
So can i use these plugs? or do i need different ones that are 1.5mm gap?
Cheers steve.

get yourself a spark plug gapper, check what the old plugs are gapped at and gap new ones accordingly.
what gap dose it say on the box?
it will be something like BPREFS15
the last number stands for the gap
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

There is such a thing as a spark plug gap measuring tool
yeah I got one, its like a circular keyring, the thickness changes around the circumference with a measurement reading next to it.
Thats the one! Better then feeler gauges any day
