mate you could always look at something like coilovers which are adjustable??Expensive i know but airbags arnt cheap either. you could use the springs you have and get the re-set to the height you want but if you ever need to go up again you will have to pull them out and change. mate just got he's done cost hime bout 300 bucks. ultimately the airbags would be the way to go, they look sik, can alter the height and still deliver pretty good ride.It all comes down to wat you wanna spend$$$$$$$

Yeah think of it this way..

Can you afford the bags just now? i dont know if ya can or not..

It can be very expensive for air bags.. and they can **** up if there cheap or not isntalled right....

    Coilovers would be good..

all comes down to what you cna afford.

also is it allround you want lowered or just the front or rear?

live axle rears are good for airbags, or helper bags that go inside your ultra lows and you can raise it up an extra 30 mm if you have a load or just want it sitting as high as superlows.
i think pedders do the bags and lines, just need to tell them what springs youve got in the rears for the right size bag

Trust me = from experiance = dont get airbags mate. once they blow after hitting HARD on something ie gutter (you never know) then goes bang then your suspension will go down.... they're expensive to replace, rides like a boat...

    I dont recommened it

you must have had some really cheap and nasty airbags then man! for them to break (burst) and for them to offer a ride "like a boat".
ive riden in a car that had been bagged, and for the height your riding at the smoothness and comfort compared to springs is second to none. none of that jolty stiffness and harsh response like lowered springs offer.
i couldnt comment on handling (as i never drove it), but that seemed pretty good too.

the lower your car is sitting, the less air in the bag, the more travel, the floatier itll be. really depends on the setup though, coz ive seen a bagged car bounce more than my car with hydros. with bags, you still keep your shocks so the rides not that bad. keep the swaybars and itll handle barebly too. my car with no shocks and no swaybars is a boat! worth it tho

I occasionaly want my VS wagon UP the rest of the time its fine I dont want to sacrafice any handling.
I'm thinking about larger diameter wheels n tyres but I don't know how big I can go without hitting something?

Then there's airbags. Does anyone know what model bag goes on our front struts? Do you need a new strut? And will I retain a sporty feel?
Rear helpers I am keen on so I can have whatever coil I like custom made and just add air, I'd like this for the front too, has anyone seen it done?
