    Default V6 & V8 boosters - are they same?

    G'day
Are these VN V8 & V6 boosters the same? (not the master cylinders as I know they're both different)
one wrecker wanted to sell me (for $25) an V6 booster said will work with V8 master cylinder, I just want to double check.

They are different. The V8 is double diaphram where the car would have some braking power with a cam (where there is nearly no vacuum at idle). The V6 has a single diaphram which is no real different for a stock engine.
But if the car has a cam with the single diaphram the brake pedal is spongy (I think)
