Hey ya
Just wondering if anyone would know if VN/VP wagons (or other models) came out with a bench seat and column change auto? We're kinda in a bind with kid no. 4 on the way, and the VK, VN or the VP won't fit 4 kids plus me and the Mrs. I know that Ffff..... Fffo.. (u know where this is going) came out with them, but am trying to avoid that path unless I absolutely have too.. and NO MPV's AND VANS!!!
lol.. Cheers
I'm pretty sure they would have, if you could get the utes and the six seater sedans with bench seat and column shift it would have been available on a wagon as well, not sure how common it would have been though

Hey All
Thanks for your responses.. At lease I know now that they make them. Does anyone hav a pic of a wagon with the dickie seat in the back?
Cheers
Dickie Seats...No good for the kiddies if you get hit up the arse
Holden sold one as an option. It seats two. A number of other companies made them. These range from cheap to expensive. Years ago we bought a Take-Three (I think they have changed names) for our VN. It holds three (obviously) and was trimmed in matching fabric as the interior of the car. The seats was shaped as well. The cheaper one are like planks. All need to meet ADR. Most face forward. There is usually an ad for them in the back of the NRMA magazine.
Safety is always a concern but when you have 5 children the options are limited.

Send kid no4 back as "unclaimed Property" and keep your car as is . Roflmao... Cheers. Rod
I converted my vp sedan to a 6 seater. Got all the parts out of a wrecked vr/vs ute. It was quite a big job, but it can be done. The hardest part is a bracket that needs to be made which sits on the firewall at the back of the engine, its for the gear change lever.
Send me a message if you want some extra info/pictures
The VG ute and VP-VS ute came out with a bech seat and column shift. The lower dash is different to standard. Everything bolts in fine.
