Hey everyone.... I have major rear wheel alignment issues.
The rear left wheel is like -6.3 degrees off for toe and -3.4 degrees off for camber or something....
Now there is nothing adjustable on the rear of the VN so it cant adjusted...
What would be causing this? Im thinking a bent diff. Cant be axles as the wheel would wobble when I drive.... So that leaves a bent diff housing?
Is that the only answer? If it is how could this have happened? Its no biggy as I have a new diff going in soon... But still cant figure out how its happened.
Yep its bent. big hole in road or gutter are 2 of the common ways to bend diff housing. Cost me $450 to swap the housing over on mine - I wanted to keep the LSD centre. (I took both diffs out of the cars for them too).
it could also be the simplest thing.
the diff bushes are stuffed and causing the diff to sit crocked
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

if you have descent tread on your 16's put them on for now so the inside on the tyres don't wear out
and airstrike with that amount of toe with -00°40' camber this will scrub out on the outside of the tyre, if it looks this way now go to a tyre place and tell them to flip the rear 2 tyres over.

sounds like a bent housing but checking/ replacing bushes never hurt. also fit adjustable top trailing arm, they allow you to set the pinion angle and also make minor adjustments the rear wheel alignment
