Default timing cover. do they have water jackets?

on the front of the timing cover on a series 1 motor. there is a place there that is flat. and has a bolt hole there. it looks like it is there for some sort of fitting that australia didn't need. if i drill into it to put my oil dump there. am i going to find a water jacket?? does anyone know. i would be thinking no. but i have never had one of these motors apart so i don't know for sure.

yep its the mounting pad for the cam sensor, you can drop oil back in there, but theres not a heap of clearence behind it though.
depends on what sort of fitting you use

i had thought about a screw in fitting. then i thought of maybe using that bolt hole to my advantage. i might put another bolt hole in there bolt a flange to it. i don't know if one bolt hole would seal it enough..
thanks for your help on that doctor bob..

yeah its an cam sensor for Bosch computers 3.8 litre, not needed for delco computers. Thats from behind of my memory - could be wrong.
