stereo cuts out while brakin / Inducating

ok i have a problem with my Bomb.
For the life of me cant figure it out here's the problem

i will be driving and have the stezza crankin and i hit the brake and POOF the stereo cuts out and starts up again.
it also does it when i inducate.
also it does it if i use Superbass on Level 3

its only started to happen today and yesterday (and the odd occation in the past)

this is what i have done
pulled stereo out changed earth, Accessory power and constant power even ran straight to the battery and still if i touch the brake it cuts out.

changed the Brake switchy thingamabob on the peddal that didnt work.

other things (thermo fan now only cuts in for like 2 seconds)
useing the Air con and the car kinda Powers down or get like a lack of power to all electrics Other than the Motor

also the check engine light came on for the first time today (just waiting for the New Car Light to come on)

any ideas really buggin my brains

i would have thought the answer was resonably straight forward, you need a new battery.
i had a kind of similar thing happen to me ages ago, driving in the rain with stereo on, wipers on, air con on, driving lights on and i went to flick to high beams and everything cut out for a split second. then when i got home it didnt even have enough power to wind up the power windows.
so i had a battery and alternator test done, first one said both good....did it again straight away and it said bad battery. replaced that and its been sweet ever since.

yeah i had a feeling it maybe but i have doubts, and the battery starts the car as it was new not even a hint that its faulty.

i did how ever go out about 20mins ago, mind you i have no amps subs and all that kinda crap and my headlights dim as the base goes :S
but never loose power to the motor.

but at one stage the lights would be bright and i hit the brake they would dimm straight away and the stezza would cut out, then the lights maybe brighten back up again... use the indicators and it would do it again damm stupid thing!

i was thinking it was like a power regulater but i dont think the vn's have that do they?

Not as easy as you said, MOSTLY turned out to be a Bad Earth, it has improved allittle
there must be one behind the dash some were.

Main problem was the Earth from the Battery to the Chassis (not at the battery but at the Chassis, was alittle corroded and crap)
now it dont competly cut out just like a Skip
will chase more up tomorrow or its goin to the Elect.

Stezza has about a 3-4mm think earth straight to the Chassis so it aint that ether. runs non standard power wires as well

what its not:
Alternater (chargin at no less than 13.74 with fluct of about 0.12)
Batt (aint tested but starts the car under load / heat and is not flat )

anyone else got any suggestions?

i'm having the same problems too
except that i'll brake, and i'll lose all power

it's usualyl in a safe place (so far) but today, came to a round about and i lost all power

what could it possibly be??

have you tried the alternator test with a load on. i.e. light, stereo, fan etc. also check the cable from the alternator to the battery as well

could it be distributor and/or alternator?

i did a u turn today, and at the end of the turn, i just lost all power

and sometimes when i'm driving and brake, the stereo will cut out and the engine will want to, but i rev it and the car keeps driving

what is it???

i had a problem like this, i would be driving and my lights would dim for a second or two and my stereo would turn off, the problem was my terminals needed a good clean and for my terminals to be tightened up (i relised i didnt tighten them up as tight because i was in a hurry to do something when i put my battery in)
thats what it was with mine, i cant say 100% if its the same with yours
