    Question Changing Timming Chain/Belt on S1 VN V6 motor

    hey guys, any1 Changed the Timming Chain/Belt on S1 VN V6 motor ?

    the motor rattle's its head off and i think is the chain.

    is it a big job? whats involved ? parts ect required ? any tips?

    is i worth doin?

    For starters it a chain, and I would make sure the problem is the chain before you replace it..as it takes a while and costs over $100 to replace.

    Could be the harmonic balancer??

    yeh VN's dont have great harmonic balancer

    and yes they have a prob with there timing chain as well my old vn wgn ratted when i took off anouing sound to have in ya car
