    Default level 2 cluster

    ok people, had my cluster in my car and now the rpm guage doesnt work all the tym, it sometimes works fully, sometimes only goes upto a certain rpm and sometimes not at all..... is there a way to fix this? or dus it look like the cluster is going 2 holden heaven? anyways thanks in advance

    I'd be checking the soldering on the printed board as it may have a small crack or something in it

    Mine used to do the same. I did what it says in the thread below and it's fine now. It's pretty easy to do if you're ok using a soldering iron and taking the cluster apart, but PM me if you get stuck! I also posted up some pics when I did it. If you can find that thread it may help too.

    thanks for the help . ill give that a shot when i get a smaller solder(all ive got is the big bastard haha) so when i get a smaller one and some smaller wire ill give it a go.. thanks heaps appreciate it

    I picked up a fine tip soldering iron from supercheap for about $15. It takes a while to heat up properly but other than that it's fine.

    kool thanks m8... ill go buy 1 in a couple weeks maybe, when im not using the car... the L1 cluster shits me hahaha
