Have a chance to but a VP V6 dual fuel sedan no reg/no rwc for $1000 maybe less.Do you think its worth a look?

depends on how good it is i spose. and if ya need a car. not the sort of thing ya would make that much money out of.. depending on condition.. ya never know it could be really neat and tidy. then it would be cheap..

Always worth a look, have seen some amazing bargains, but if ain't special don't buy it.

A mate was looking for parts for his jag once, saw ad it the paper for sell or wreck jag.When he went for a look couldn't believe that anyone would wreck this imaculate jag. Turns out bloke has run off to England with some young bird, rang his missus (Now ex) to say sell the jag and send him the money, so for $100 my mate drove it away.

Another time a mate was looking for a car to buy, he wanted a Chrysler by Chrysler, but I convinced him to have a look at a BMW 733i that was in the wrecking whole cars only section. Turns out the BMW dealer wouldn't put it in his yard because of a small dent in the boot. My mates still driving it now,about 8yrs later.Better luxury than the Chrysler , probably faster and heaps of fun (it's a rare 4 speed manual) and all for $1000

hehehe. shit no. they use to be worth nothing. now in good condition they are getting to be worth a bit.. my dad has one that should be restored again.. it is really dark blue.. darker than midnight blue.. it looked nuts

m8 its always worth a look, i bought my car for $500, dual fuel, v6 and its got all the usual stuff for an exec BUT it has cruise that isnt wired up(somethings missing) and if the engine wasnt nice we were going to wreck it, turns out my engine runs fantastic runs great on petrol and lpg.... luv the car.. and it passed a rw pretty easy so was worth the money cost about $1000 to get on the road worth it..... so maybe just go have a look? anyways have fun

yeah alot of cars that used to be worthless are now fetching good bucks. I had a thing for the CL-CM wagons back about 14yrs ago, got given one and liked it ,$300 later I had 4 of them . Only the first one was a bomb the others were in great condition.
At that time you had to pay people to drive Datsuns, anytime you needed parts for your Holden you'd buy a HD/HR for $50 ,take the bit you needed and then take the rest to Simsmetal ,who'd give you $25. Just Imagine having invested a few thou and now been selling off a shed full of Datsun 1200's , 120Y's ,Valiants and HR Holdens!!!!

yeah even 8 - 10 years ago. i should have bought up all the good old cars that were going for a few hundred. i would be rich now. my dad use to say. they aren't worth anything. they will always be around.. how he was wrong..

well i got it for $900 and he is leaving a 400 buck JVC stereo in it.Top of car is faded has VR steering wheel(its gunna go)15in mags with RW tyres.Runs great on gas and fuel,recent auto done,new LPG mixer.Will breeze through a RWC.Basicly a reg maintained VP with tired paint and cheap gas.It will be a daily driver for the missus so she can get rid of her V6 manual Magna.
