    Default 17" rims

just wondering how to put 17" on a vn. it looks like itll fit with about 40 profile but not sure. and what do you have to do to get 18s under there, change the strut?? the back looks fine unless you go over 235s and the back is what i thought would be the problem. anyone out there done it??

i can tell you my self they fit mate...

    im using 235s/45z/R17

you have to roll the rear guads to fit them in tho (if its lowered) but its a good idea to do it anyway

you can fit even 20s in there(PIMPVQ)

but 17/18/19s should go straight on no hassles just rolled rear guards

nah man thats not the strut rubbing

im currently sitting on ulra rears and super fronts and i have no issues, you may want to fix up the camber on the front..

the inner guards might rub, i get it when im turning and hit a bump too hard just a bried bump but yeah nothing serious...

front camber is ajustable?? yeha it is the strut the gap between the rubber and the strut (lower end of the spring holder dont no technical name) is about 5mm and sometimes it is rubbing.

on 17's, 45 profiles look better than 40s. the smaller tyres look abit weedy, and the bigger ones fill out the guards more

I have ultralows in the front, superlows in the rear.

My car has 19" rims wearing 245/35 tyres and that fits fine. Although there is only 5mm clearance to the spring seat, but thats because the tyre profile is larger.

I have an adjustable rear panhard rod and rolled guards as well...

i've got 17" clubsport rims(235/45/17's) on the VN and they rub a little on the back but when i had the 17" VTSS rims they didn't rub at all so ther must be a slight difference in the offset. you shouldn't ahve an problems though
