My VN has a coolant overflow tank but it is disconnected (See pics).I want to hook it back up. I've looked but I cant see anywhere where it would or could be connected. Does anyone know where it connects up?????

Yep thats a series 1.5, i can be ran like that as the series 1's were but if you want to hook it back up you need a series 1.5 pressure cap which will have the fitting for the hose, as it looks like someone has changed yours. Should be able to get one froma wrecker for peanuts.

yeah its the series 1.5 Basically the same as the series 1, but with a pressure cap feeding another overflow bottle on the passenger side strut tower. Series 2 changed extensively with a radiator cap, thermostat around the front and a single overflow bottle on the drivers side strut tower.

Here is a pic of my series 1.5, see the pressure cap feeding the second overflow.

Dont you need the overflow connected to a device (plastic bottle) if you go up a drag strip? Perhaps thats why it is there?

Ive got one if you need one PM me, ive got two brand new seals for them and an actual cap with the part you need.
and id let them go cheap..

I removed it off mine, replaced it with a normal cap and got rid of the bottle.
