Just walking pass a silvia the other day looking at the headlights I thought "Wow, that would look good on my wagon"
Does anyone know if a NISSAN S13 2000sx SILVIA HEADLIGHTS fit on a VN?
What if I melted it, bend it, use 5 tubes of clear silicon or make a bracket for it to fit?
Has anyone tried?
Looking at the pictures, it looks like it could fit but I have never seen a set to try it.
can you het a photo of the silvia lights next to the VN lights?
I dont have a VN light pic
whats the dimensions on it, does it match or close to the VN lights dimensions?
if its smaller you could possibly mount it inside the VN light housing
if it did fit ...what if I turn the indicator into another light...maybe another parker light?
Yeah sounds good mate. Have a go, would love to see this. But I meant the VN indicator, as the Silvia indicator is seperate (its not part of those headlights)
On the topic, are VS headlights the same as VN headlights???? I cant see the difference...
This one doesnt have the triple projection headlights, but same dimensions, just the standard lights:
They dont look high enough I dont think
I think the VR/VS lights might be the same height as the silva...length I do not know
This is a nissan silvia S13
Here's a coupla pics from the other commo forum. A most ingenious fellow put S13 headlights on a VL. So anything is possible. If ya want more info on how he did it just do a search on the other forum.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

ok there are three types of S13 Silvia headlights
triple projector
twin projector
no projector
Can someone in Adelaide SA go see what the difference is, Please
www.adelaidejap.com.au/wrecking.htm
There is no difference in size between the 3 S13 headlights and you can see the difference in the pic on that site...
It appears they are not high enough to fit from what I can see. Also, VR VS headlights are just as high as VN headlights mate, its just that the VR VS bonnet dips over the headlight.
me uses more tubes of silicon to fit lights LOL
lol I just had a look and It appears you might be closer than I thought man.
The Silvia headlights might be pretty close to a fit...
It appears its a common conversion for Mazda's... Theres a few Mazda 626 and Mazda MX6 cars going around with S13 headlights:

ok the only way to do this is to get me a pair of silvia lights.
Get me a set, I'll attempt it! hahaha

Apparently CRX headlights will fit if S13 ones do also, almost perfect match between those two... But i'd never use CRX headlights...
I'm serious, Someone find a cheap set.....
It's either that or I do a VY Calais front end on my VN... lol

IMO that Mazda would look better with the original lights. It just looks like someone has chucked the new lights in there without thinking about it too much and now nothing lines up. It's never worth doing a mod like that if you're not going to do it properly and get it right.
You would have to do a lot of work to get the S13 lights to look right on a VN I think, but it would be something different which is good![]()
yeh but your forgetting about the 5 tubes of clear silicon that will hide all the mistakes Shortstuff
