Yeah, lower it. They look alright on the interceptors if they're lowered.

Just looked at your signature and noticed that, then wondered why you were asking Oops!!

    I'd still lower first though.

It wouldn't worry me what order it was done in. But I said mags first. Although I agree with xcop5l, some cars at stock height, with a nice set of wheels, looks crap. But it also depends on the style of wheels on it.

    lower then mags.

but small mags like 15-16" dont look out of place on a standard commy. it just looks gay when people get 18 or bigger on a standard height commodore

VN2NV nope I mean all big mags, lowered or not, 17's are ok, 18's are the absolute limit on a VN I think after that they are laughable

Xcop does your brothers sc14 go properly now?

mags!! for sure. if you get mags after you might find you have rubbing problems maybe. lowering does nothing for me where as mags change the whole car!

i got mags first, but cant get em off the other car, the locknut tool is missing! So my car is standard height with standard 14" rims, with 15" mags waiting to go on! (I wish my problem was the car looking 'gay', at least that would mean I had the mags fitted!)

I broke my lock nut key on my 16's mate, but all you need to do is find the right sized socket then grind it down so its in the hole in the wheel. A 22mm or 23mm socket is normally the go, bang it on with a hammer once ya can get it in the hole.

Took me maybe 30 minutes to get the right socket, grind it, hammer it on, get wheels off one by one. Sockets are like $6 man, so dont be scared to grind one down.
