When is my pain going to end? NOW HAVE DEAD CLUTCH
Repairs so far $3780....Gggrrrrrrrrrrrrr... And now......Clutch gone.
Anyone know how much to repair clutch? V8 93 VP wagon. Also while the gearbox is out can I replace anything in there to help it?
you could have got another two vns for that.. and now a third one when you pay to fix the clutch....
hmm $300 for a clutch n thrust bearing maybe need to skim fly weel :S not too much.
just wondering what could possibly cost that much?? new motor, g/box, suspension, body??
13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!
All suspension needed replacing, new 245's on front and 255's on back, new Ignitian module,new brakes, new disc rotors, new water pump, new rocket cover gaskets, sludge removal 3 times (3 oil filters and oil etc) The sump gasket had to be replaced (ouch that hurt). Radiator repaired. Coil, Plugs, Front bushes and arms. Plus a few more things.......I must have bought a lemon, but I am going to persist, I love the car....Oh yeah the valves probably will need doing in about 1 year.....noisy, and number 7 compression not as good as others...In one of the pictures I am being towed by a ford......

One question, where are the rockets?
The rockets are underneath the car with the aviation fuel tank. When you press a button on the console wings came out of side of the car.

look on ebay. there way a v8 clutch kit on there. i think it was a button clutch. but it was sprung. so it wouldn't be too bad. it was 390 plus postage.
the one i was talking about is there for buy it now and it is 440 there is a plain normal clutch for 210 with a HD pressure plate..
Repco has them for $350, but thank you , actually ebay was the first place I Looked, great for bargains. Cheers Defa !
you talking about the button ceramic clutchs for $350.. if so that is pretty good. i was going to suggest adelaide clutch's. they are goo to deal with. can be quite good priced on some stuff.. they would post to melbourne too..
