VP Calais remotes

Does anyone know if the VP Calais with BCM can learn to recognise a new remote, or do I have to take it to a Holden dealer to get it programmed? The reason I am asking is that I have only one remote and need to buy a second one.

it needs to be put into programming mode using a Tech1, so yes you need to take it to a dealer

why am i wrong in thinking you just cut the traces under the PIC on the second remote to match the first bob?

that only applies to VN VP base models, & it only roughly tunes them they still need to be fine tuned with the trim pot
the VP Calais type is a Bosh BCM & remotes, different system
