Hi all, just wanting to know if sedan springs interchangeable with wagon?the question relates to a VP V6.Hope you can help.Adam.
they are the same height, dunno about the load rating the wagon might ahve thicker diameter spring steel
rear springs are usually higher if put in sedans and sometimes heavier duty
How are the rears different?I have been offered a set of pedders springs from a wagon and was hoping they would go straight in.
in your VQ??? thats got irs its going to be totally different
Yeah the VQ is totaly different...
But in case you have a VP sedan too... You can put them in but they will sit higher. It should be fine, just a heavier duty spring I think. They will fit, they just arent the correct spring. But wagon to sedan should be no big problem. The other way around might cause issues with load rating etc. though.
Nah its for a VP V6 i got on the weekend and it looks like a 4WD
might still loook like a 4WD after they are put in hahaare they lowered at all do you know???
Yes they are lowered but not sure how low, there is about four inches between the top of my rear tyre are the guard at the moment. They are red springs so they arnt orig but it is so high.Once i get it on the road(reg) then i will lower it.Oh it has LPG as well so has a bit of extra weight in the back too.
:my: its not a big job to do anyway should take you ahlf an hour at the most![]()
i went to see les at betta springs in melburn, and having a vp 6 wagon, not being able to find anything lower than super lows, he said i could put sedan rears in (in the rear) how well would that go?

sure am, been running sedan ultras for ages now, not a problem, bar being a little softer than ur average wagon, so filling up the back sags it a bit more.
lol @ beefcream, nice spelling, funny thing is i didnt realise til just typing this bit now.
