just picked my VP up from getting a service, and a tightening of the clutch cable.
the guy i spoke to asked if i was hard on the clutch, and said that the fork had a lot of wear, and looked like it had been reinforced, but could go soon.
looking through the gregorys i suspect (but don't know) that he meant the release lever, anyone able to shed light on this?
2ndly, i know exedy to a heavy duty clutch, which is going to be my next plate, are there heavy duty "forks" etc?
how many k's has the car done?
by wear i think he means freeplay.
im not shure if they mahe heavy duty forks. but i knoe you can get replacement forks

the thrust bearing on the vn-vp-vr manuals are made from a hardened plastic and can wear but usually only after about 40,000 of clutch dropping and double clutching on downshift etc... i didnt think the fork itself would wear as its only 2 pins the push the thrust bearing onto the diaphragm
