Question How Many Vn V8's

Does any one know how many VN v8 were build? (Not including utes or Statesmans)

And when was the V8 released.

I think it was 1989 some time after the v6?

I dont know how many, but I do know Holden produced about 9,000 304 V8's per year every year from the VN to VT, I'd say 80% of them are still haunting your local streets at night with another 15% inside ex V6's

Thanks for that.

I think it would be real hard to let a V8 just die and be scrap iron.

Lol I'm tempted at times. I thought the V8 was available right from the start of VN in 88, but I'm not 100% certain.
