VN engine warning light?

Hi bought my VN few days ago and I was driving it tonight and the orange engine warning light came on for a few seconds and went off again. Does anyone know what might of caused this. I read in the owners manual that it was the engine management system. Does anyone else have the same problem. Thanks

That engine light means that a fault code has been logged. In the faq section there is a thread on how to pull and interpret fault codes from the computer and what each code means. Happy hunting.
