Yes. Part of the 185i package (so all HSV models and HSV Enhanced cars) receive extractors vs the standard exhaust manifolds.

They're not brilliant quality though just a cheap 4-1 tube type header, press bent and unequal length primaries. VN series 1 V8's (165kW) got them too.

they never sell for much. i sold some earlier this year and thought i would get a bit for them. only got about $60. but they are better than the cast manifolds. a mate of mine put a set of headers on his girlfriends vr calais 5l and it made a huge difference. not as much difference as the exhaust did thought. but it still wound out a lot quicker..

Don't think so, they only used the "extractor" type design after VN S1 on HSV V8's.

The stock VN header finished up very early in the VP's but HSV kept using them in all the 180/185 kw clubsports untill the last VS's. The HSV ones have a flat flange and the VN type have one of those press fit flanges, that's the only difference. They were made by H&M and the build quality is pretty shonky, I took my apart and rebuilt them all the way through but only because I needed something to learn to weld on .

They wont do much because they are all the wrong length to do anything special except increase the flow a little, I'm going to expect 5rwkw from them but that's about it, but they will hold me over until I have some custom headers.

Oh yeah, I got mine for 50 bucks on ebay without the Y section. sometimes they go for heaps sometimes not much so you have to wait around a few weeks to get a deal

Yeah, theres a set on ebay 4 sale atm and I just noticed they were exactly the same as the 1's on mine and when I saw they were 'H@SV extractors', I though, "So? they're the same?"...

Your VP must be one of the very first VP's because I think maybe only a few hundred cars? got the VN headers, it wasn't many anyway
