    Default Would these extractors fit?

Do you think these would be fine on my VP Calais?

They are at a decent price and only 5mins from my house. If they fit i will buy now

    To save you time -

    S1 VN V6 extractors

    will they fit...

They don't look in great condition though. Is there anything in particular i should look for? I'm not worried about the look, just the performance / reliability

    Thanks for your help guys!

i can't see why they would'nt fit. you will just have to get a y peice made up. well if i was you i would run a twin cat system. with the manual y piece they are crushed under they gearbox for the sake of room. so if you get a twin cat system you won't have the restrictive flow..
i am basing this all on series 1 by the way.

im pretty sure i have the S1 VP, as it doesn't come with ABS.

so buying these extractors, i would be able to install them (or have someone do it for me) and they would work. i would see some gains, but to get the full advantage i should get a new Y piece and a twin cat system?

A twin cat system would be very nice, but not sure if its in my price range at the moment...

How much is a new Y piece?

they are not standard. they are very different. if you get twin cats. you will need to put the headers on them some pipe out of each side. then a cat each side. then a y piece into your exhaust from your 2 cats.. something like that anyways..
if you are not that handy doing exhausts get an exhaust place to do it.. i am not sure how much it will cost you.. also if you are going to go twin cats i would think you would want to go a bigger exhaust. if you don't alreayd have one.. so you might be up for about $400 plus buying another cat.
i might be wrong on the prices. someone on here should know..

if you just get the y piece and only go sinle cat, it shouldn't cost you too much..
i am not sure how much you would gain either... some people say you won't gain much..

i've always wondered that - how do aftermarket extractors look different to the stock manifold?

and at the moment i have 2.5inch from the cat back. Not sure i can stretch the budget for 2 cats, but depends on the gains.

First though i'd have to check whether these are even extractors like they claim...

he is not claiming anything.. the seller just said series 1 vn extractors..

Hes not claiming them to be pacemacker or any other performance mod brand.

The difference between stock and performance would be the thickness.. and pacemaker are generally silver looking.
