Unhappy HELP PLEASE!!! VP Calais remote boot release not working

I couldnt find a thread that could help me so I started this one.

The Calais has a 2 button remote system 1 to unlock the doors and 1 to release the boot. However this remote boot release is not working. The release in side the car is fine so I would assume the solenoid and wiring are ok and I have tried using each of my remotes so I have ruled them out. Looking at the wiring diagram it would appear the Body Control Module recieves the signal from the remote which sends it to the solenoid. I was wondering whether to try resetting the BCM or if anybody has other ideas. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Cheers Damon

Just hope its not your remote. You have the crap one where holden changed manufactures and you can't get the remotes anymore.

i got a replacement remote at one of those key and engraving stands places. gave him my old remote that barely gave a signal and he supplied and reprogrammed a new after market remote for $70.... works a treat. bring it too a place like that and they might be able to tell you weather your old remote is giving a boot signal or not... getting ready to do the berlina but i have to bypass the override lock first (car came with no key )
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
