hey mate, it can be done but its NOT a good idea to run them both down either sides, what usually happens is after the axel they cross them back over, because the fuel lines run down the drivers side of the car... u can get dual systems made up but really.. unless your running forced induction i wouldnt bother... its not like exhusts make much diffrence on N/A engines... unless they're uber designed... you gotta have the flow in the first place... 2.5" on a v6 sounds good and is pretty in expensive.. a dual headers back system will cost you round $1000?? for that u can get turbo gear :P or a $1000 hooker for the night, or 10x with $100 hookers or x100 times with $10 hookers imagine that!!!

100 Hot Thai girls or or a zoorst, hard choice?

I'm Building my own dual exhaust, everythings looking easy except I need another irs muffler really, I didnt realise they were so much different than the live axle ones so I'll build everything else first and worry about the muffler last

Every one I have seen is a twin system run side by side down the passenger side, then one pipe is mandrel bent around the fuel tank to exit the drivers side...

It's eassssssssy in a IRS car since the tailshaft doesn't move you can run pipes all over the place and they have mounts for both mufflers ready to clip on

i thought if ya had a twin system on a vn-vs, that after the diff it wound around the fuel tank to the other side of the car. does that make sense????
rather than sticking to the right side of the car all the way with the right pipe. i am pretty sure that is how i have seen it done. a mate of mine has a corsa ute. i will ask him how his twin system is done..

$1000!!!!! Where are you shopping? My new one that is going on is $640, thats for twin 2.5" mandrel bent, stainless mufflers, balance pipe, flanged so I can drop the exhaust easy and a twin chrome dumper tip all fitted.

Mufflers yes, but you need to get around the fuel tank.We are talking about an exhaust exiting from each side of the car,not on one side.
There is a VT in Sunbury with this mod and it has a custom alloy tank mounted in the centre.

ive seen this on utes as they have the fuel tank under a pannel under the floor in the tray....it just makes it eayser
i dont think it can be done with out it being bent arround the tank or having a modified tank fitted, theyre it basicly no room on the drivers side of the tank
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

Geez Airstrike, for a second I thought you were talking about Paradox's hookers... My eyes nearly fell out of my head till I read the rest of your post.

$640, thats a good price for an exhaust set-up. I can't wait to get one put on Ruby. She needs to be louder. And as cool as a dual exhaust would look, i wouldn't bother with it.

I would never bother with a twin system on a V6 to be honest.

its the quallity of the exhust sometimes :P, my brother just purchased a $3500 dual 3" exhust system for his GTO monaro... its getting turbocharged very soon!!!, hes aiming for mega HP

theres just plain no room on the drivers side for dual zorsts, dont bother mate not worth it just go down to ace, pay $200 for a 2.5" cat back system....save your money for modifications that might do something insted of make it louder :P
