Yeh mate B & M shift improver kit stage 1 & 2 is about 80 bucks from autobarn, although my mate bought one the other day from there and it was 150 so i'm not sure if the prices went up or what. You can get a corvette servo off ebay for around 30 bucks as well.

you want the B&M shift improver kit (stage 1 & 2)for the TH-700-R4 (or 4l60 as its also known) and not for the 4l60e (electronic) as in the VR tranny. B&M also do a transpak kit which recalibrates your tranny for max performance with a stage 1 & 2 shift kit but is more expensive.

B&M says you can do it without removing trans from thecar with basic hand tools, all there is to it is to drop the pan, filter etc, remove the valvebody, replave the valvebody seperator and fit the new one and then put it all back, basically that should do it. i won't be 100% until my stuff arives next week but that is what it says in the catalogue
