vn ss atlas gray mystery
hay dudes got question with the vn ss atlas grey commodores did they lighten the colour grey and did the style of SS decal on front doors differ as years went on cause i looking at 2 vn ss the colours look different as does the SS decals?

different batches of paint will most likely differ in shades of the color, as for the stickers im not sure

The stickers should be the same.
The colour paint is the same no matter what year it is. Atlas grey did not vary. But after 16+ years the paint will have faded, so the lighter one has probably been out in the sun longer and had the paint fade on it.

same ive seen this when i was looking at getting a vnss
with the paint just sounds like different fading levels
or mabe one has been resprayed and the badges have been put back on wrong

Yes they come with power windows (mine has them). As for the decals, one could have aftermarket ones on it. I know one of the decal kits I looked at on ebay had 5 silver stripes in the kit, where as its meant to be 4. Let me know what the difference between the decals are, could be a sign one has been in an accident and been repaired.

When buying a car brand new, you can actually have certain options/extras removed or added. That would explain the differences in some features. For example, Ruby has no A/C.

Haha, nah she's got power steering, FE2, the bigger brakes...
the only thing missing is the A/C. It ws never there. There's no button, nothing.

i thought the power pack was only an option (windows, mirrows and cruise on auto's).
Also with the decals, they may have put them on upside down.

I was a car salesman for about 2 years, and I reckon 3 grand tops. If its a dealer, crunch them on the price, and HARD! Explain it needs a respray, needs new bonnet, got no options at all etc etc, milk it. Really the only thing going for it is the kays, otherwise it sounds shabby.

nah not worth 5g maybe 3500 if the kms are genuine but it can still run like a dog with low kms if it has been not looked after...
