Black ring around one injector???

one of my injectors have a black ring around it where it goes into the motor, What would cause this? and how do I remove the injector so I can check it? I cant find anything about them in the gregory's manual???

is this like a black marking...or actually something that is like a ring that is black? - it could be the o-ring seal for the injector.
if your talking about a mark (like some black gunk) its probably just carbon from burnt fuel.
to check the injectors (pretty sure the buick is the same as the ecotec in getting to them) you need to take off the intake manifold, and then you can raise the injector rail to see your injectors tips.

on the buick, just unbolt the fuel rail and pull them out. remember to depressurise the fuel line though. gregories tells you how to do that.

Im confused, how can you see this mark where it goes in the motor, but havent worked out how to remove them?

ok sorry bout the lack of info lol it's a black markaround the injector like black shit has been comming out of it, if that makes sense?
