Can anyone tell me why the rear end of my car has VR/VS components. A mechanic was baffled when looking underneath while inspecting the vehicle. He told me the whole rear is VR/VS. What does this mean? It was the actual body, structure and some parts of the suspension.
he could just mean the rear bar, but if he was looking underneath then he's probaly talking bout the suspension, the vr/vs and some vp's came out with IRS, or independent rear suspension, is the diff in its own housing mounted solid to the body with two drive shafts coming out of it (vr/vs), or is the diff and axle housing all together, making it the complete width of the car and have springs from either end (standard).
Soon to be back on the road, Turbo VG.
It means the mechanic hit his head while he was looking under your car![]()
