VQ V6s?

I was just wondering if there are many VQ V6s about? There was a Series 2 VQ V6 in the wreckers the other day and it got me thinking that i'm pretty sure all the other VQs i'd seen before have been V8s. Is the VQ V6 a rare beast or am I just crap at noticing what engine is in the ones I see?

i gotta say i have seen more v8 ones about but there is also plenty of the v6 ones about too..

didnt no the v6 stato's existed in the vq, i thought they came out supercharged in the vr-vs stato?

its not a stato with out an v8 i thnk v6 statos would be gutless not the super6 tho

yea stock rb30e are gutless not mine tho it beats stock to mild 5l get down the quarter 14.3 at 95 mph

VR/VS had V6 & V6S/C option.

I didnt think VQ's ever came V6?? If they did must have been a series 2 VQ only thing.

The V6 VQs only came out in VQ2.There was one on Ebay last week for 1800buy it now with under 160,000 on clock and a broken grill,But i am in the wrong state.

There are heaps of VQ V6's I've even been in one

, not sure what the percentage was but I'd guess 20% or 25%? are V6

Sometimes you can get really nice V8 VQ's on ebay for 3,000 flat, but 1800 is a deal just for the posh bits alone

VQ S1's were just 5.0Ls, the V6's were brought in S2, dont really see many with the 6's in em but, and im pretty sure the super 6's were only brought in the VS not the VR

vs statos i think where the ones with super6 vr still had the old v6 i think the eotec had the super charger and when i worked at the wreckers saw a few vq sixers

Whenever you see one in the wreckers it's nearly always stripped bare

I was suprised the V6 I posted about was still pretty intact when I saw it!
