VP Berlina S1 - Any reasonable mechanics in Penrith area?

Hiya all

First thanks for all the great advice. I've just bought a S1 VP Berlina 6 with 220k on the clock, and have replaced leads and a coil pack to address bad missing issues, and just got 550km to a full tank of regular unleaded in a combination of city/country driving, including some moderate driving.

Thing is, I've had it to two mechanics now for general quick check-over and advice on the missing, and both claimed to check filters and fluids so you can imagine my surprise when opening a k n r filter packet and opening the air box to fit it that there was no @#$@# air filter in the beast.

So, I've now got it running pretty well myself, but I'd like to take it to someone around lower Blue Mountains or Penrith area... can anyone recommend someone good with Holdens generally, or the VP in particular?

I only bought this car cheap as a temporary solution, but with the police chasers on it and fact that its the second motor, and its only done 100k and running beautifully that I may well end up getting the bug and spending some more on it than buying something newer

Welcome to the forum mate, Im a lower blue mountains local myself so i'll look out for the VP. Sorry i cant recommend any mechanics to you but will ask my old man, he's bound to know a few
