Im just wondering what is the best type of exhaust system to put on a vp
v6? I just been loooking at cat back systems but im not sure of what to go for to get the best sounding note out of it??

extractors will give u a deeper note if ya can afford them... and a 2 1/2" catback..

Extractors often dont change the note of an exhaust, and if they do, it is a minor change.

Thanks for that! Just also wondering will i get a better sound with no resonator or have sports mufflers?????? Im not quite sure??? Is it better to have a press bent exhaust or a mandrel bent??? Just trying to find out what will give it a good note! Any help would be greatly appriciated !!!

well depends wat sort of note u want... pretty sure mandrel bent is the better 1...

im just wanting to figure out what will give a good note to a v6.. like having sports mufflers, or hotdog mufflers. even taking out the resonator!! im not sure what notes the v6's have with cat back systems!!

I love the sound of my car, it has a 2.5inch redback cat back with out a ressie. Doesnt sound that great with the ressie so i took it out and just ran a straight pipe. Thats my opinion anyway.

the type of sound, or exhaust note is going to depend alot on the type of muffler you use.
it really depends on what type of sound you want, if you talk to an exhaust shop when doing a cat back system you should be able to explain to them what you want and they will recommend suitable mufflers.
having no rear muffler - or a straight though system will result in a louder note, with a comprimise on some more drone.
on a v6 vn i like the sound of the lukey glass pack mufflers, but thats just my opinion, if you hear a note you like on a similar car to yours, ask them (if they know) what muffler they used so you get an idea of what you want.
