    Default What's this sensor?

I can't post any pics at the moment, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out with what a particular sensor does on my S1 VN V6?

It's in behind the oil filter almost hidden from view, and only has a single wire going to it. The plug doesn't seem to have any clips and is oval in shape. It attatches to the part of the wiring loom that runs to the two big connectors just behind the battery tray. The wire is brown and yellow (I think). And it's all very oily

Sorry I can't do any better than that for a description but if anyone can tell me what it does from that then

OK! Thanks. I didn't even know it was there until I started pulling all the wiring out today!
