just wondering what you think about the thin white walls people are getting on tyres these days??

really depends on the car and most importantly the rims them self!

I think they look best on chrome rims on white cars because it all suits.

Whitewalls on a car thats not white doesnt look good... If its red, go redwalls, gold get goldwalls. But again it doesnt suit the rims as much either if its a different colour.

I saw a litle vid somewhere of putting thin whitewalls on a vehicle about just a 1 inch strip around the tyre near the rim, rather than a large white area.
Looks good from a distance because it increases the appearance of the wheel without being a defect, but up close is a bot dodgy.

Thats the kinda whitewalls we are talking about... well much smaller than an inch. 9mm are the size normally.

Is that Justin? i know a guy who had them done by him and it was the worst job he'd ever seen. Didn't last long either and when he tried to get some money back the guy didn't want to know him.
