    Default Eletric mirrors stopped working

    Hi all,

1991 VP Commodore's electric mirrors have stopped functioning.
I've checked for power at the switch connector but there's no 12v.
I've checked the fuse and it's ok.

    Any ideas??

Wires may be broken. Happened in my dads VS. He pulled back the rubber between the door and pillar, resoldered the wires and it now works.

    Thanks NickVR

I expect that may be the case here.
I'll pull back the rubber (excuse me) on the weekend and have a look.

I had trouble with my VN electric mirrors and it was that the contacts inside the loom in the door had corrosion on them - my mechanic mate sandpapered the insides of them and they have worked great for the last 2 years or so now.
