Ignition Problem

I have this problem with my ignition at the moment! yesterday i was using the spare key which is slightly thinner than the normal key. When i went to use my normal key it was really hard to turn the ignition over, it feels like it gets stuck. How can it be fixed????? Any help would be greatly appriciated

About the only thing to put in locks for a "physical" problem like this is a little powdered graphite (anything else - WD 40 etc - attracts dust and clogs things up worse in the long run). you dont need much. get it from a hardware or auto parts store. cheers.

If it clogs completly like on my car a few months ago - had to get the mobile lock smith out to replace the whole lock...$200 later and 2 hours stuck at work car park (no over time) realy sucked but I didn't take notice of the sticky ignition. My bad.
